Brink DLC Pushed Back To July

Brink DLC Pushed Back To July

None

Brink was an interesting little game that attempted to change the rules of the first-person shooter genre. Unfortunately, it released with quite a few issues that tainted the experience for many. For example, online play was extremely laggy, there was a lot of texture pop-in, the level cap was only 20, and there were only eight maps to play on.

Developer Splash Damage listened to the fans and promised to address all the aforementioned issues with a free DLC pack called Agents of Change due out in June. The DLC will add two new maps, raise the level cap to 24, and address the lag and graphical issues. To accommodate the new level cap, there will be five new player skills and two new outfits.

However, June is almost out, and it’s pretty clear that Agents of Change won’t make the June deadline.

A post on the Bethesda Blog today stated that Agents of Change is “currently in submission at Microsoft and Sony” and fans can expect it to arrive in early July. It will be free for the first two weeks, but so far, no price point has been mentioned for after that.

For PC users, this patch is coming out in increments, and the first of these is already live.
