Remember how it was a big deal that the Xbox One just hit 303 backwards compatible games this month? Well, that number is up to 309 now. While BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite made news earlier this week for joining the lineup, the latest group of six games is a little more eclectic. Great, but niche.
The most well known of the six is one we’ll all appreciate. Bully: Scholarship Edition, a game celebrating its tenth anniversary, is now backwards compatible. So is the sexy puzzler with visual novel elements, Catherine . Raskulls, Skydrive: Proximity Flight, and Planets Under Attack round out the domestic additions. Meanwhile, people in Japan will now be able to play Clannad on their Xbox Ones.
How great is backwards compatibility? It’s absolutely one of the reasons I bought an Xbox One. In fact, I’m tempted to buy Catherine again, since I loved it so much on the PlayStation 3, so I can play it without having to hook up my old system!
