Campaigns Kick Off To Rescue Dart And (Possibly) Abe

In the wake of confirmation that no more DLC would be released for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, info has surfaced that Sony scrapped a pair of planned DLC characters. The news comes from the portfolio of character designer Mike Edwards. Of those, one has been confirmed to be Dart, the hero of The Legend of Dragoon. The other, though unknown, is suspected to have been Abe, of Oddworld fame.

Campaigns have begun to see both of these characters released, appropriately named #ReleaseDart and #ReleaseAbe. Sony’s original impetus for scrapping them having been lower-than-expected sales of PSABR, and particularly underwhelming DLC sales for the first two characters (Isaac Clarke, of Dead Space, and Zeus from God of War), the very best way to help these characters see the light of day is to make noise and, if you haven’t done so already, buy the game itself.

Seriously, folks. Money talks.
