Check Out the Star Wars May the 4th 2017 Roundup

Check Out the Star Wars May the 4th 2017 Roundup

It’s May 4, which means everyone is freaking out about Star Wars . My job is to tie this cultural tomfoolery to video games, so thank goodness for sick sales! Marketplaces across platforms are offering substantial deals on Star Wars software. Check ‘em all out below:

From May 4 to May 11, you can find piles of discounts on the Apple Store, Google Play and Amazon marketplaces as Star Wars games can be purchased for up to 50% off. This includes Star Wars Pinball , LEGO Star Wars and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic . On the Apple Store specifically, you can get up to 67% off on in-app purchases.

From May 2 to May 8, video game-specific marketplaces Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and Steam are offering up to 77% off select Star Wars games. This includes various PSP games exclusive to the PlayStation Network. Some of the deals include Star Wars Battlefront for $9.99, Super Star Wars for $4.99, and Star Wars Bounty Hunter for $4.99.

Finally, Viveport is advertising ILMxLAB’s Trials on Tatooine . This is being advertised as the “only room-scale, Star Wars virtual reality experiment.” Set after Return of the Jedi , players can play with a lightsaber, maintain the Millenium Falcon, and fight stormtroopers with R2-D2.

Let’s end this round-up with some silliness. To celebrate May the 4th, The Tonight Show put together a mashup video that uses Star Wars footage to make all of the characters sing Smash Mouth’s “All Star.”
