The developer behind Silent Hill: Shattered Memories recently posted a series of images depicting a single character jumping his way through a middle-eastern landscape in both 2d and 3d-platforming fashion.
Teasing a new game is enticing enough, but the studio turned even more heads by quickly taking the images down and defaulting on the timeless “tech demo” excuse. This lone character—clad in white and red, and armed with only a curved sword—also bears a striking resemblance to Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia franchise, which hasn’t seen a release since 2010.
We’ve already seen one of Climax Studio’s current projects, which appears to be a horror-esque title, but these images suggest they’ve got something else in the works. Will we be seeing more of the long lost prince of the sand in spite of Ubisoft’s claim that the PoP franchise is currently “paused”?
We certainly hope so, and we’ll keep you posted.
