I usually think of DLC as a money grab. Especially when it’s cosmetic. I’m sure I’m not the only one. But, there’s one case where it’s not only okay, it’s important. I’m talking, of course, about Activision’s Call of Duty Endowment add-ons. These DLC packs are customization options where all proceeds help veterans find jobs, and now, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has received its Endowment C.O.D.E. Courage Pack.
The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Endowment C.O.D.E. Courage Pack is $5 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Buying it gives you weapon skins, a special reticle, an emblem, and a calling card. It’s a way to give back to people who risk their lives for us, while still getting something for yourself.
What’s even better, is that Infinity Ward and Activision are calling even more attention to this job creating charity and add-on. At 11am PT/2pm ET on December 9, a Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare live stream will be held to promote this pack on Twitch . There’ll even be “special guests” appearing. Sounds like a good time!
