The appropriately named game, Dangerous Golf , is made by Three Fields Entertainment which is a team partially consisting of a few founding members of Criterion. Criterion, if you don’t already know, are the folks responsible for titles like Burnout.
Dangerous Golf looks very much reminiscent of Burnout, in particular, the title’s Crash mode. Before swinging at a fiery meteor of a golf ball, players aim and angle their shot in order to cause as much chaos as possible in four locations: a petrol station, kitchen, castle, and ballroom. Trick shots and explosions will gain players more points.
There will also be couch and online co-op for players looking to play with a friend. It seems like a good way to pass some time, honestly, but we won’t be able to find out for sure until the game is released in May of this year.
