Dead Rising 2: Case Zero was meant to be a prequel to the events of Capcom’s upcoming zombie-killing outing Dead Rising 2, bridging the story between the first and second Dead Risings. However, it seems as though Japan may wind up missing out on this adventure.  Case Zero has been officially delayed in Japan due to some inappropriate content (violence) contained in the free version of the $5 downloadable title (via Andriasang). While this is bad news for the folks in Japan, the US version of the game is still on schedule for release August 31 (via Joystiq). However, it’s not all bad news for Japanese fans of the series as Famitsu has received confirmation that this delay will not impact the release of Dead Rising 2, still scheduled for September 30 in Japan and September 28 in North America. |
