At GDC this year, Yasuhiro Wada, ex-CEO of Marvelous and new founder of Toybox Games let slip that a new Deadly Premonition project was in the works for the PS3. He later met with Joystiq for an interview about the upcoming game to clarify his statements.



It turns out that the new project is not a sequel, but a remake of Deadly Premonition. Technically, Wada called it a “remastering,” as not only the graphics will be updated. New content, including new scenarios and plot elements, will be added to the game as well. In addition, the new remake will be fully compatible with the PS Move control scheme.
