Destiny’s “Exodus Blue” PvP Map is a PlayStation Timed Exclusive

As reported by Game Informer on Wednesday, September 3, the PvP Crucible map, “Blue Exodus”, for Bungie’s forthcoming shooter, Destiny , has been revealed to be a timed exclusive for PlayStation users.

Blue Exodus itself has been designed for on-foot combat with teams of either three or six players, and five different game modes will be available for the map: “Skirmish”, “Control”, “Salvage”, “Clash” and “Rumble”.

Skirmish and Control requires you to capture points, but one has revives turned on and the other has revives turned off respectively. Salvage is where you have to locate and scan relics, Clash is a six-on-six team deathmatch, and Rumble is a six-player deathmatch.

No details were reported as to when the timed exclusive content will be shipping to other platforms, though it’s speculated to be sometime later in 2015.

Destiny’s first expansion will be available for all platforms in December , which will be a timed exclusive on both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4, and it’ll release on other platforms soon after. You can secure access to Destiny’s expansions by pre-ordering the game, which comes with additional goodies to boot .

Destiny is slated to launch worldwide next week on Tuesday, September 9 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. A PC version of Destiny is currently “ a heavy point of discussion.
