At BlizzCon 2016, we learned Diablo will be coming to Diablo III . Blizzard will be giving people a 16 floor dungeon with the eight directional movement, a pixelated filter, and the four original bosses again in January. But, we don’t have to wait until January for this special event. The Darkening of Tristram is available in Diablo III right now on the Public Test Realm.
To play The Darkening of Tristram, you need to fire up Diablo III: Reaper of Souls and make sure you have a character who’s reached the Old Ruins. Then, head to the PTR version of the game and go to a waypoint portal in the Old Ruins. You’ll be able to experience the testing version of the event.
Know what might be wise? Maybe wait and give the Diablo III’s Diablo- inspired event a try next week. You’ll have more time over the holiday to enjoy it. The PTR version will have had more time to brew. You can really devote yourself to the adventure.
