DreamHack 2014 Tickets now Available

DreamHack 2014 Tickets now Available

The DreamHack team, the world’s largest digital festival for all things gaming and computing that takes place in Sweden, have announced that tickets for DreamHack Summer 2014 are now available for purchase!

A week-long event from June 14 ‘til June 17, DreamHack is an event that gamers from around the world attend to take part in digital activities and entertainments, like watching tournaments, playing in a massive LAN party, meeting pro eSport gamers, talking to developers, purchasing goodies and gadgets, and so on.

Detailed on its site, there are six different kinds of tickets to purchase. Some of them are more inclusive than others, but they naturally come at a higher price. As a sweeping statement, most of the tickets will allow you to access the event itself for the whole week that it’s on (allowing you access to the sleeping halls) and those tickets will also allow you to bring your own PC rig or console. The other tickets (save one) grant you 24/7 access to the DreamHack event, and you will be provided with sleeping quarters. You will also be allowed to participate in tournaments during the event. The last ticket is just a day pass, which allows you access to the DreamHack event between the hours of 10:00am and 01:00am as well as to the store and conferences. I’ll list the tickets in detail below:

  • Table Seat – Standard

    • Price: 929 SEK / 142.55 USD / 86.80 GBP

      • Access to:

      • DreamHack Summer 2014

      • Bring your own computer

      • Sleeping hall access

This ticket essentially gives you a place to sit where you can set up your rig / console and play your games. You will be given a table space of 83 x 60 cm. One ticket is valid for one person, and is valid for one computer and one table seat. Additionally, you’ll be inside DreamHack throughout the whole event with access to the sleeping halls and you can compete in tournaments.

  • Table Seat – Express Entrance

    • Price: 989 SEK / 151.75 USD / 92.40 GBP

      • Access to:

      • DreamHack Summer 2014

      • Bring your own computer

      • Sleeping hall access

      • Express Entrance

This ticket functions pretty much the same as the Standard, only the Express Entrance gives you a bracelet to wear around your wrist. This bracelet allows you the fastest entrance to the DreamHack event and you won’t have to be checked in on location.

  • Table Seat – Gigabit & Express Entrance

    • Price: 1049 SEK / 160.96 USD / 98.01 GBP

      • Access to:

      • DreamHack Summer 2014

      • Bring your own computer

      • Sleeping hall access

      • Express Entrance

      • Gigabit Connection

Just like the Standard and the Express Entrance variants, only this variant gives you access to DreamHack’s available internet connections.

  • Event Pass

    • Price: 550 SEK / 84.39 USD / 51.39 GBP

      • Access to:

      • DreamHack Access 24 / 7

      • Sleeping hall access

      • Play in the tournaments

The Event Pass gives you access to DreamHack just like the Standard Stable Seat ticket, except you won’t be paying for the opportunity to bring your own rig or console. You’ll still have access to the sleeping halls and you’ll still be allowed to participate in tournaments.

  • Competitor Pass

    • Price: 550 SEK / 84.39 USD / 51.39 GBP

      • Access to:

      • DreamHack Access 24 / 7

      • Sleeping hall access

      • Play in the tournaments

Pretty much the same as the Event Pass, only with more emphasis on participating in tournaments.

And finally,

  • Day Pass

    • Price: 150 SEK / 23.02 USD / 14.02 GBP

      • Access to:

      • 10:00am to 01:00 DreamHack event access

      • Watching concerts and tournaments

      • The DreamExpo and DreamStore

The basic of all the tickets, the Day Pass allows you just one day access to the DreamHack event as a spectator between the hours of 10am and 1am the same day you purchased the ticket.
