Over the weekend, Capcom confirmed in a post on their website that their 2012 indie title Dustforce is now available for the Xbox 360. The game retails for $9.99 and can be purchased over Xbox Live Arcade. This build of the game was originally supposed to debut alongside the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions of the same title earlier this year. Below is a formal video that gives a general overview of what players can expect from the game:
Simply put , Dustforce is a platformer that allows players to use brooms and acrobatic chain attacks to defeat enemies. The game also features both ranked and private multiplayer match types for players to engage in.
While this game carries an interesting concept, it may not necessarily be for everyone. I’m a little surprised that it also hasn’t yet been announced for next-gen consoles. Perhaps Capcom is currently exploring these options and will have more to discuss on the matter soon.
Have any of you had a chance to play Dustforce ? If so, is it worth the $9.99 price tag attached to it? Please feel free to let us know that and more in the comments section below.
