Fallout 3 Add-ons to PS3; Two More Announced for X360 and PC

Sony fans have a lot to look forward to over the next few weeks, not least of which is the announcement by Bethesda concerning Fallout 3 DLC.

According to an IGN interview with Bethesda’s Todd Howard, all three previous add-ons will make their way to the Sony PS3. Operation: Anchorage is set for a June release “with The Pitt and Broken Steel following with 4-6 weeks between each.” However, two freshly announced content packs will still make a timed exclusive release on the Xbox 360 and PC.

The two new add-ons are entitled Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. Point Lookout will transport players to a new “swampy area,” adding a host of new quests. Apparently, the new zone is based off of Point Lookout State Park in Maryland. Mothership Zeta will get a little far out, as it will feature “a return of the aliens who are described by Bethesda as ‘pissed’.” In fact, the content will feature an alien abduction.

Both downloads will sell for the standard 800 MS points ($10) and will release in June (Point Lookout) and July (Mothership Zeta).
