Far Cry 5 Does the Fast Ending Bit Again

Far Cry 5 Does the Fast Ending Bit Again

One of the most headline-friendly aspects of Far Cry 4 was a hidden ending players could find within 15 minutes of starting the game. This appears to be a running gag now, as players have discovered the same bit recreated in the world of Far Cry 5 .

If you don’t know, Far Cry 5 is set in America this time around, in a fictional Hope County, part of the very real Montana. Hope County has been taken over by Joseph Seed, a violent evangelist who runs an extremist cult. The game starts as the player, referred to as The Deputy, is on the way to arrest Seed. Things obviously go south from there.

However, when approaching Seed’s church, the player has the option to not attempt the arrest. Wait for a number of minutes, and instead of pushing you to do it, the Sheriff will actually call the arrest off. What happens next? Try it for yourself and see! Just know that this ends Far Cry 5 before it truly begins.
