Final Fantasy 12 is one of the most slept-on classics in the Final Fantasy franchise. Many fans of the series and even the game aren’t aware of the direct sequel it received for the Nintendo DS. Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings was released on April 26, 2007. The game sold well in Japan and was the best-selling Japanese console game in the week of its release. Reviews were generally positive but the game didn’t quite get the same reception Final Fantasy 12 did. Final Fantasy 12: Revenant Wings Premise
This title takes place a year after the events of Final Fantasy 12. Revenant Wings follows four main characters as they join the original story’s cast. The game is a real-time strategy game similar to titles like Final Fantasy Tactics. Summoning magic is a major pillar of this game’s game design and features more summons than the games that came before it.

- Kytes and Filo: Two orphans from Rabanastre. Originally, these twins were NPCs in Final Fantasy 12.
- Llyud: A resident of Lemures.
- Ba’Gamnan: A sinister bounty hunter who while also a character in the original title, has a much larger role in Revenant Wings.

Unlockables
Airship Unlockables
After Chapter 4, you can unlock various objects to decorate your airship with. This makes your airship look better, and adds, not to the game completion score, but to your completion score.
NOTE:
To obtain and view the Supreme Crest, complete every single side mission before starting the Final Chapter (you should be on 97%).
After completing the first two levels in the Final Chapter, you should be 100% complete.
Create a new save file and then die during the boss fight. It will ask if you want to try again. Say no. Go back to the airship and then you can apply the Supreme Crest to the airship and then you have one save file for free exploring and one right before the boss battle.
