Don’t worry everyone, Flappy Bird is coming back. Don’t you feel stupid for dropping $1000 on a phone with Flappy Bird pre-installed?
According to game creator Dong Nguyen, the new version will be far less addictive. He hasn’t told us what this means, but perhaps you won’t be able to play it for hours at a time. Maybe a limited amount of plays without buying more with a microtransaction?
Nguyen also said the new version of the game will have a multiplayer as well. Likely, this will be something like the independent Flappy MMO that was developed independently of the original game.
Nguyen says he is working on a lot of future games as well. One of these games will feature a character jumping from building to building. Soooo Cannabalt we guess? Just another infinite runner?
Why do people like these games so much again?
