Former Call of Duty Developer Chases Off Bandits That Attacked His Office in the Night

Game developers have some serious chops. Robert Bowling, former developer for Call of Duty and head of the new indie games studio Robotoki, actually foiled a break in by some night-time bandits. Before you get too excited, there wasn’t any ADS cover shooting action going on. A sketchy man smashed the glass of the front door of the Robotoki office, thinking that nobody was inside. However Bowling, who keeps late hours due to being the owner of the place, noticed the break in and ran toward the invaders, who quickly fled. Luckily their faces, along with Bowling’s act of bravery, were caught on tape by the office’s security cameras.

Bowling is encouraging all of his friends and twitter followers to share the security footage as a way to try and catch the robbers. The attempted break-in took place on January 8 th at 7:20 PM PST. If anyone has any information about the attempted robbery, please contact Bowling and the authorities ASAP.

Robotiki is currently working on Human Element , a shooter due out for the PC and consoles in 2015.
