Forza Horizon 3 Gets Chilly Expansion in December

Forza Horizon 3 Gets Chilly Expansion in December

Just in time for the winter season, Microsoft has announced the release timing for Forza Horizon 3 ‘s next expansion. Titled Blizzard Mountain, the large-scale DLC adds 50 new campaign challenges and events to complete across several new icy courses.

Blizzard Mountain adds three all-new ways to race with Descent, Hill Climb, and Blizzard modes. Sounds… cold. It also includes a bevy of new cars: the 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4, 2016 For GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX, 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck, 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B, 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car, and 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck. As a person who knows very little about cars, I freely admit that those names mean almost nothing to me. Hopefully that’s good news for some of you out there!

Finally, for all of you achievement hunters, Blizzard Mountain offers 28 new ways to add to your Gamerscore. You’ll be able to earn these when the expansion goes live on PC and Xbox One on December 13. If you already own the season pass, it’s included in your purchase. Standalone pricing has not yet been revealed.
