Ninja Theory’s HD remake of Devil May Cry has been announced for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.I t’s been announced that this “ Definitive Edition ” of the game will boast a resolution of 1080p and a framerate of 60. According to a recent press release, these are only two of the many new features Ninja Theory’s remastered Devil May Cry is said to possess.
The Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition comes with all of the original game’s previously released DLC, including the “Vergil’s Downfall” campaign. It will take advantage of the new consoles’ sharing features, allowing players to show off their combos. The combat system has been rebalanced, and there’s also a new manual lock-on option, too.
Not only that, but the Definitive Edition will sport all-new gamemodes, such as “Vergil’s Blood Palace”, which is a horde mode-like matchup which pits you against 60 waves of enemies whilst playing as Dante’s brother, Vergil. Other new gamemodes include “Hardcore Mode”, “Must Style” and “Gods Must Die”. Finally, there’s a Turbo Mode, which increases the game’s speed by 20 percent.
Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be available both physically and digitally on Tuesday, March 17 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and currently has a recommended retail price of $39.99.
