Hudson Entertainment has announced Onslaught, the first FPS to come to WiiWare. The story, similar to that found in the upcoming DS FPS C.O.R.E. as featured in our hands-on preview , revolves around the loss of communication between HQ and a research colony in the distant future. As you can imagine, mayhem sets in and you’ll have to fight your way through the game.
The game will take advantage of the Wii Remote’s IR camera for blasting and the motion controls of the Nunchuk to lob grenades. What’s more, according to Eurogamer, the game will feature some kind of online co-op for up to four players. The Wii remote will be used to aim, and shaking it reloads ammo. You use the nunchuk to lob grenades. There’s an online co-op mode for up to four players. Pricing and date info are still up in the air. |
