Controversial anti-game attorney Jack Thompson is facing an ethics trial today that could potentially have him disbarred, preventing him from being able to practice law.
The Florida Bar is pursuing various complaints about Thompson’s professional conduct. Some of the complaints include making untrue statements about the judge presiding over his unsuccessful bid to have Rockstar Games’ Bully declared a public nuisance and accusing another judge of ‘fixing’ court cases. More recently, Thompson has caused controversy by including gay pornographic images in a document filed with the court system in an indictment of a criminal defense lawyer that publishes with the National Gay News.
Referee Judge Tunis has until December 21 to issue a ruling, and this entire week has been set aside to hear Thompson’s case.
