July’s PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup Revealed

July’s PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup Revealed

Sony has revealed your free PlayStation Plus games for July, and they’re looking really good! It was a pleasant surprise to find to strong headliners leading the pack for the PS4. First up you have Furi . This is an indie slasher from The Game Bakers that I’ve been looking forward to for a while. It’s basically an easy-to-learn / hard-to-master boss rush game. Controls are simple – you really only ever slash, dodge, and parry – but the gameplay is fast-paced and challenging. Furi ‘s soundtrack also gets a huge boost from electro-composer Carpenter Brut.

PS4 owners can also look forward to Saints Row: Gat out of Hell : a mature, chaotic, open-world outing set in Hell. This game is totally over-the-top, but totally worth your time.

But wait. there’s more! If you’re a PlayStatino Plus member you’ll also get early access to Paragon , the new MOBA that Epic has been working really hard on. I tried it a couple of months ago and wasn’t too impressed, but Epic has been making continuous changes, updates, and improvements since then. PS Plus members will be able to play the game before it’s in open beta and will receive a Starter Pack that includes extra heroes, challenges, and skins (valued at $40).

There are four games left in July’s lineup. PlayStation 3 owners get Fat Princess and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood . For the Vita, there’s Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines and Prince of Persia: Revelation.
