Kingdom Hearts’ Sora Is Getting a Nendoroid

Kingdom Hearts’ Sora Is Getting a Nendoroid

We can finally see Kingdom Hearts III on the horizon, although it still feels like a way off. I suppose it’s nothing, compared to the decade long wait we’ve endured so far. Fortunately, fans have no shortage of Kingdom Hearts merchandise that can be conveniently purchased in a ton of retail stores. Good Smile Company, the company behind Nedoroid figures, has announced that, thanks to them, there will be even more Kingdom Hearts merch. In particular, a Sora Nendoroid is on the way this December.

Nendoroid are a bit like the popular Funko Pop! Vinyls, as they are cute, exaggerated depictions of popular characters. They differ in at least two crucial ways, though. For one, they are poseable and have swappable parts so that they can take on a range of looks. For two, people actually tend to take them out of their box, whereas for some reason, Funko stuff seems to stay boxed on shelves. That’s anecdotal, though.

This Sora Nendoroid will come with Sora’s classic Kingdom Key keyblade, as well as the Pumpkinhead Keyblade that is inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas . And, adorably, a Paopu Fruit will come in the box as well. Kingdom Hearts fans know why that’s cute.

The figure will retail for $43 USD and release this December. It is currently available for pre-order on Good Smile’s website.
