Konami Adding Kojima’s Name Back To Metal Gear Solid Branding

Konami Adding Kojima’s Name Back To Metal Gear Solid Branding

Last week, Videogamer reported on a story confirming that Konami is currently inserting Hideo Kojima’s name back into the branding for Metal Gear Solid . The signature line “A Hideo Kojima Game” appears on The Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection packaging but currently isn’t on The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes box covers.

Konami has already stated that Kojima will remain a vital part of any Metal Gear Solid games moving forward, but haven’t really elaborated on this further. This news comes after both sides had a very public disagreement last month and several outlets started speculating that The Phantom Pain would be Kojima’s final work on the series.

The ongoing drama between Kojima and Konami continues and seemingly has no end in sight. It definitely will be interesting to see what happens next and how it will impact both this series and the highly anticipated Silent Hills game that is currently in development.

What do you all make of this latest chapter in the Metal Gear Solid fiasco? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
