Are you a fan of LEGO The Lord of the Rings? Wel, l now you can travel back to the franchises LEGO origins with LEGO The Hobbi t. Planned for elease in the spring of 2014, LEGO The Hobbit will be based on the first two “chapters” of The Hobbit movie franchise: An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug . Of course, Tolkien fans know that The Hobbi t is only one book, and these chapters are just a way to make the franchise seem as epic as The Lord of the Rings …but whatever.
LEGO The Hobbit will allow you to play as every important character from The Hobbit and beyond. That includes Bilbo, Gandalf, as well as the dwarves Thorin, Fíli, Kíli, Óin, Glóin, Dwalin, Balin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Dori, Nori, and Ori. Each character will have a unique ability that will allow them to solve puzzles in unique ways. In addition, players will be able to build LEGO structures for one of the first times in a LEGO game.
LEGO The Hobbit will release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Vita, Wii U, 3DS, PC, and Mac. We will bring you more information about it’s release as it becomes available.
