Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is now available for PC via Steam. The game sells for $15.99 and includes all the DLC from the console version with the exception of the Aerith costume.
Lightning Returns is the final game in the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy, and with its release, PC gamers can finally have access to the entirety of the story. The game puts players in the shoes of Lightning, a heroine charged with saving the world in a mere 13 days.
This game’s release follows shortly in the wake of the Steam release of Final Fantasy VI. Square Enix seems to be taking an initiative to make its games more widely available. And at this price point, it should be easier for fans who have shunned Lightning Returns for being an atypical Final Fantasy game to justify the purchase.
