Grasshopper Manufacture’s Lollipop Chainsaw has shipped over 700,000 units worldwide.
The commercial success of the game makes it the developer’s most-shipped title ever released.
The news was announced during the Lollipop Chainsaw Summer Appreciation Festival event, with Kadokawa Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuda and Grasshopper Manufacture CEO Suda 51 confirming the milestone.
Due to the announcement, Suda released the first promotional video for Killer is Dead, an upcoming title that’s said to be a lot more like Killer7 and No More Heros than recent Grasshopper titles. The video depicted a male protagonist with a cyborg left arm and a katana in his right hand.
