Easter eggs are always fun. Sometimes they’re so carefully hidden, at times impossible to find, because they can break the fourth wall or disrupt the continuity of a story. In a game like Just Cause 3, we’re not worried about any of that, and players are already discovering some killer Easter Eggs. The first one I’d like to bring to your attention is a sweet shout out from one of the least hardcore games to one of the most hardcore games: Dark Souls . On a random stretch of beach you’ll find a Souls style bonfire, a rifle protruding from the center where you’d typically find a sword; a nice touch. Next up we have “Doge Mode.” Yes, this is a real thing, and yes, it’s pretty much exactly what you’d hope it’d be. All you have to do is help a poor little mutt cross the road to a doghouse and you’re good to go. Doge Mode can now be activated from the options to enable some cute, textual commentary as you go about shooting and blowing things up.
