Mass Effect: Andromeda Sends Us into Space in 2017

Mass Effect: Andromeda Sends Us into Space in 2017

Bad news for people who wanted to meet Commander Shepard’s successor this year. It’s not going to happen. When speaking at the 2016 Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference, Blake Jorgensen, the EA CFO, confirmed Mass Effect: Andromeda won’t be released until 2017.

During the presentation, Jorgensen said that Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch in its fourth quarter, which means it will be released in the first quarter of 2017. He didn’t offer any other details.

However, Jorgensen did go into a few other games we can expect soon. He said a new Battlefield game and the Titanfall sequel will be released in the third quarter, which means they’ll be out in time for the 2016 holiday shopping season. He also reminded people that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be out on May 24, 2016.

Not getting Mass Effect: Andromeda this year is sad, but it looks like EA’s year is still packed!
