Metal Gear Rising Dev to Build The Legend of Korra Game

The sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender , The Legend of Korra , will be receiving its own videogame adaptation that’ll be developed by none other than Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Bayonetta developer Platinum Games.

As reported by IGN on Wednesday, June 25, the Legend of Korra videogame will be a third-person brawler developed for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and it’ll be a downloadable title published by Activision.

The game will take place between The Legend of Korra’s second and third seasons, the title’s story will be written by Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Tim Hedrick.

Additionally, a 3DS title of The Legend of korra is also in the pipeline, which will be built by handheld developer Webfoot Technologies. While Platinum’s adaptation will be a fast-pace action game, the 3DS game will a turn-based strategy game that will ” focus on tactically maneuvering Korra and her allies on the battlefield, ” according to IGN.
