MGS HD Collection Gets Vita Launch Date

In a recent press release, Konami Digital Entertainment announced the official launch date for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the Vita. Gamers will now be able to bring Solid Snake with them wherever they go, starting on June 12, 2012.



The Vita version includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, each totally redone with brand new graphics and including full touch and motion controls on top of the standard button controls. In addition, the game will take advantage of “Transfarring,” which allows gamers to transfer their game from the PS3 to the Vita and back.
