Last week, we reported that Minecraft shattered XBLA sales records on its first day, becoming profitable in a little less than an hour. At the time, we didn’t have official numbers. But now we can celebrate officially, because those have been released. According to PlayXBLA, Minecraft has sold over one million copies on the Xbox LIVE Arcade. In addition, there have been over four million multiplayer sessions and over 2.4 million hours of multiplayer played since the game’s release last week. In fact, over 5.2 million hours have been spent online in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition in total.
