Modern Warfare Remastered DLC Costs Cause Trouble

Modern Warfare Remastered DLC Costs Cause Trouble

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered continues to be a hot zone of controversy for Call of Duty fans. This time, the Variety Map Pack is under fire. It contains the same DLC as the original Modern Warfare , but at a higher price point. Back in the original game, the pack was $10, but the remastered version sits at $15.

Fans are mad about this, big time. It’s not actually that big of a deal in a vacuum, considering inflation over nearly ten years as well as what are probably associated costs with bringing the content over. That said, this comes on top of tons of bad news already with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered . The game itself is inaccessible without also purchasing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for one, and two, Modern Warfare Remastered had plenty of technical issues since it launched.

Activision isn’t exactly known for giving Call of Duty fans a break, in terms of paid content, but this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered situation seems to be the straw that finally breaks the camel’s back. If it wasn’t for all the buzz surrounding what might be a return to historical fiction roots for the series coming up, Call of Duty fans might have been ready to pack it up and go somewhere else this time around. We’ll see; this could also just as likely be hot hair and YouTube dislikes more than anything else.
