While shooters and platformers tend to dominate the E3 landscape each year, it’s important not to overlook our four-wheeled friends! One such title (Forza Horizon 2 ) looks particularly tasty!
During the E3 festivities, both Playground Games creative director Ralph Fulton and Turn 10 creative director Dan Greenawalt were on hand to field questions regarding a variety of topics covering their upcoming game’s release. While sweet visuals and expansive tracks are naturally an important ingredient, with Forza it’s all about the cars, cars, cars! When asked just how many rides we could expect the new title to sport, they stated it will “…include a diverse selection of more than 200 of the world’s greatest cars to drive…This includes exciting new cars never before seen in the Forza franchise such as the Forza Horizon 2 cover car, the Lamborghini Huracán.”
One noticeable absence from E3 this year was there wasn’t much in the way of PC titles. So will ‘ Horizon 2 make an appearance on our desktops anytime soon? “We are excited to share that Forza Horizon 2 will be available for Forza fans on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. We look forward to sharing more details about the game as we get closer to launch.” They state ambiguously.
Forza Horizon 2 will hit your Xbox 360 and Xbox One this September (but I suspect you shouldn’t hold your breath on that PC release).
