More details about the upcoming Tomb Raider title have been revealed. The game, entitled simply Tomb Raider, will be a reboot of the Tomb Raider brand. The gameplay mechanics have been changed, moving Lara from her usual third-person action niche to an open-world, sandbox game.  The story involves a twenty-one year old Lara Croft and forces the player to utilize her survival skills to endure. Lara must forage for food and water, avoid traps, and increase her exploratory abilities and equipment to find new areas. The game is also violent, as her foes can dispatch her in a number of “brutal” ways. Look for a full preview as soon as more news becomes available. |
