Mortal Kombat 11 Nightwolf DLC May Debut Before Evo 2019

Mortal Kombat 11 Nightwolf DLC May Debut Before Evo 2019

There has been a lot of teasing for Mortal Kombat 11’ s Nightwolf DLC lately. But, the biggest suggests that we won’t have to wait much longer for news about the next fighter. Ed Boon, creator of Mortal Kombat, suggested on Twitter that Nightwolf could be showing up on August 1, 2019.

Boon said, “Fingers krossed on Thursday we should be sending The Wolf.” Using the “k” for crossed is a hint at Mortal Kombat , where the letter is usually substituted for words. The Wolf is a blatant reference to Nightwolf. This could mean a full review on August 1, 2019. Or, it could mean that Nightwolf will appear at Evo 2019 when the event starts on August 2, 2019, as Mortal Kombat 11 will be one of the games appearing.

This is far from Boon’s first Nightwolf tease. Back on July 19, 2019, he showed off nine seconds of footage of the character on Twitter . This was a brief example of Nightwolf brandishing his tomahawk. Unfortunately, it didn’t showcase any of his moves.

As for a release date, there is a possible window. Nintendo’s Sales and Deals page temporarily and briefly had an image showing NightWolf would be available for Kombat Pack owners starting on August 13, 2019. People who purchase that season pass get early access to each DLC fighter as they are released. That image was pulled and no one ever confirmed the date, so it is more of a possible rumor than anything.
