MW3 Brings Foundry And Sanctuary To PS3

MW3 Brings Foundry And Sanctuary To PS3

None

The PS3 version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be receiving an update this Thursday for Call of Duty ELITE members. Sanctuary and Foundation, two maps that were released a month ago for Xbox 360, will finally be available on the PS3 for paying members. Normally, the PSN and PSN content updates on Tuesday, so this Thursday update comes as a bit of a surprise to many PlayStation users.

It’s normal, though, for the PS3 to receive Call of Duty updates after the Xbox 360, and we will likely see Call of Duty updates continue this model at least until the release of Black Ops 2 later this year. The flow of Modern Warfare 3 content will start to slow as we become more hyped for Black Ops 2’s release, though some of this content is actually tied in to Black Ops 2 pre-orders.

More Call of Duty info is to be revealed at this year’s E3.
