MW3 DLC Finally Heading To PSN Next Month

None

PlayStation 3 owners have been enthusiastically waiting for Activision to give them some type of timetable regarding the Modern Warfare 3 DLC that Xbox 360 owners have been enjoying since January 24th. Well, the publisher finally decided to throw them a bone yesterday by announcing a release date.

“We’re excited to announce,” reads Activision’s press release, “that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Content Season for Call of Duty Elite kicks off for Premium Members on the PlayStation Network on 28th February with release of the first two content drops of the nine month season, Liberation and Piazza.”

There’s no word yet on when the DLC will be available to the non-premium members, but it’s probably safe to assume that Activision will get a few more customers signing up for a premium subscription this month.

Until recently, Activision’s Premium Elite service hasn’t exactly been exciting, but with early access to their DLC and unlimited content for the entire year, it finally feels like it’s starting to pay off.
