Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is getting a brand new DLC pack this month. 2K Games announced today that a new expansion called The Holodome Onslaught , will be coming out on December 16 th . You can purchase the DLC pack for ten dollars, or you will receive it for free if you purchased the season pass.
The Holodome Onslaught is the second DLC pack for BTPS , this time focusing on new story content. The expansion will feature some well-known Borderlands 2 characters, such as Gaige the Mechromancer, and Axton the Commando. The DLC is primarily centered around challenge style modes, where you survive long onslaughts of enemies. The story is that Athena is once again telling a story to the vault hunters, though this time she just skips to the gorey violent stuff. The pack comes with new weapons, new items, and new skins.
In addition to this paid DLC, a free patch will come out increasing the level cap to 60 and introducing Ultimate Vault Hunter mode, which will always scale the threat of the enemies to your level.
