Nintendo 2DS Gets an Attractive Price Cut

Nintendo 2DS Gets an Attractive Price Cut

I’ve been trying to talk one my colleagues into getting a 3DS. It’s a handheld that everyone should own. There are so many wonderful games to play, the eShop is easily accessible, online games like Mario Kart 7 and Tri Force Heroes play marvelously, and the the 2DS offers an incredibly cheap entry point to the 3DS family. That latter point is about to be made even more relevant as Nintendo has just announced a price cut for the Nintendo 2DS system, effective May 20. You’ll soon be able to score a Nintendo 2DS for $80 USD. You’ll even find bundles offering a 2DS pre-installed with Mario Kart 7 for the same price, which is an incredible value.

There’s never been a better time to dive in, either; there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Fire Emblem Fates is still doing really well if you’re looking for a fantastic, tactical RPG, Kirby: Planet Robobot has done phenomenally well on Japanese charts and will be arrive in North America early next month, and we can look forward to Style Savvy: Fashion Forward, Disney Magical World 2, and Disney Art Academy later this year. And don’t forget about Pokemon Sun & Moon ! Now is the time, folks. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to jump in and see what all the fuss is about, this is the perfect excuse – you’re only five years late to the party.
