The WiiWare service for Nintendo Wii features original, Wii-exclusive content for download to the platform. Today it was announced by Nintendo that said service is celebrating its one year anniversary. Has it already been a year? Holy-cow I’m getting old! Regardless of the length of my tooth, WiiWare had a solid first year pumping out such quality games as World of Goo and Lost Winds. Looking forward, plans have already been revealed for Icarian Kindred Spirits (a platform adventure reminiscent of Kid Icarus) and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (an episodic sequel to the classic original).
