Nintendo Labo Cardboard Spray Is Totally a Thing

Nintendo Labo Cardboard Spray Is Totally a Thing

Nintendo Labo is a strange product that nobody expected. Naturally, it’s inspiring third party products that nobody expected. To that end, the successful maker-like cardboard project line will likely need some upkeep, lest you need to order replacements, so a product has emerged, with Nintendo Labo branding, that will help folks keep their cardboard healthy.

This particular product, unearthed by Kotaku, is a cardboard spray being sold in Japan that cribs a bit of the Nintendo Labo aesthetic and names it on the package as well. Cardboard spray isn’t a new thing and is used by crafty folks to protect anything made with cardboard from sweat, oil, and other bits of nasty that are associated with human hands. Worried about your kid yucking up their Nintendo Labo sets? Give it a nice coating of this stuff, and it’ll be fine until somebody steps on it or something.

It’s about $15, plus shipping, if you want to import the Nintendo-adjacent cardboard spray from Japan. However, you can probably find the boring, non-video game-y kind at a local arts and crafts store.
