Yesterday, Nintendo Life released a news story confirming that two new StreetPass games are coming to 3DS owners on April 16. The two new games are StreetPass Fishing/Ultimate Angler and StreetPass Zombies/Battleground Z . Both games will be released as a bundle for the retail price of $7.99.
Over the last couple years, Nintendo has shown an increasing willingness to buy into the DLC business model. Super Smash Bros. is another game that will now be taking advantage of DLC, much to the delight of hardcore Smash fans everywhere.
The idea to create both of these games is a smart and calculated move by Nintendo. StreetPass is a great way for new 3DS owners to connect just by virtue of being in the same place at the same time. I predict that we will definitely see more StressPass games in the future if this proves to be a success.
