PC And Vita Gamers Will Get Some Japanese Love In 2014

The news that Tales of Xillia 2 will be coming stateside has only just hit, and it seems like other Japanese developers have already taken the opportunity to jump on the localization bandwagon. From Aksys Games to NIS America, a slew of 2014 releases have suddenly cropped up, so let’s go down the list.

  • Sorcery Saga , the Etrian Odyssey -esque dungeon-crawler from Compile Heart will make landfall on the PS Vita courtesy of Aksys games (reported via Gematsu ).
  • The unexpectedly L.A. Noir -reminiscent half-visual-novel Danganropa 1&2 Reload will also be finding its way to North American and European Vitas thanks to NIS America (reported via Gematsu ).
  • NIS America still isn’t done, as yet another JRPG/dungeon-crawling experience will be seeing a Western release on the Vita—this time it’s Demon Gaze (reported via Gematsu ).
  • And staying true to the burgeoning popularity of die-hard visual novels, genre-icon Steins;Gate will hit PCs everywhere in a full English translation (reported via—you’ll never guess it— Gematsu ).

Now is certainly a good time to be a JRPG fan.
