Plants Vs Zombies, Resident Evil (And More) Free For PlayStation Plus Subscribers

None

It looks like PlayStation Plus subscribers will have yet another reason to point their fingers and laugh at normal people in September. Every month, Sony gives Plus subscribers access to a slew of free games, downloadable content, demos, and extras. This month, Sony is celebrating Resident Evil’s 15th anniversary by giving away copies of Resident Evil: Director’s Cut, Resident Evil 2, and Resident 3 starting on September 20th. As if that wasn’t enough, subscribers can also purchase Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD for 50% off the retail price.

Starting today, members can also grab copies of Plants Vs. Zombies, Astro Tripper, Altered Beast, and Jet Moto. So, if you thought you were finally going to get your lawn mowed today, think again. Unless you can figure out a way to strap your PlayStation to your lawnmower, Jet Moto needs to be your main priority.

Also, Star Wars fans should probably plan to call in sick on September 13th, because LucasArts is shaving 50% off on a collection of Star Wars favorites:

  • Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes PSP

  • Star Wars: Battlefront II

  • Star Wars: Battlefront Renegade Squadron

  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed PSP

  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Apprentice Mission Pack

  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Character Pack 1

  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Character Pack 2

  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Hoth Mission
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Tatooine Mission Pack

Subscribers will also have access to a few interesting minis, trials, and demos, but I think we can agree that they’ll already have their hands full.
