Online retailer Amazon has played a key role in the next-gen arms race, as their pre-order records have all but dictated the respective popularity of the competing systems. Although early numbers showed an obvious consumer preference for the PlayStation 4, Amazon has now confirmed that both the PS4 and Xbox One are completely sold out.
Not to worry, though; you’re holiday shopping isn’t totally shut down. As detailed on their official Facebook page , they’ll still be accepting pre-orders for both systems. However, due to the extreme demand, they can no longer guarantee at-launch delivery.
So, you’ll probably have to wait a bit, but you can still get yourself a next-gen system before the PS5 comes out.
