Now that Konami is taking P.T. off the PlayStation Network, PS4s with the game installed on it are suddenly becoming valuable. They are a piece of gaming history that will never be able to be recreated, so if you have P.T . on your PS4, for the love of all that is good, don’t delete it.
Or, if you really don’t care, maybe sell your PS4 on eBay. Listings for PS4’s with P.T. installed on it are showing prices as high as $1,800, and they are still rising.
P.T. was the playable teaser for the recently canceled Silent Hills project, a project that Hideo Kojima said would make you crap your pants. However, now that Kojima is leaving Konami, the project is going with him.
This shows how important it is that we have a way to preserve our gaming history. When the last PS4 with P.T. goes offline or deletes the content, then no one will ever be able to experience this game that could have been.
