We’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about the upcoming PSP2 announcement. We all know it will happen, but what we don’t know is when – or what exactly – will be announced. If current speculation were believed, the PSP2 will be able to everything except fly you straight to the moon. However, there is at least one piece of speculation that is all but confirmed by Kaz Hirai himself. In a recent interview with the New York Times, Hirai was asked what kind of controls the PSP2 will have.  Kaz said, “Depending on the game, there are ones where you can play perfectly well with a touch panel, but you can definitely play immersive games better with physical buttons and pads. I think there could be games where you’re able to use both in combination.” Take it how you want, but I think we can assume there will be some sort of touch screen implemented with the PSP2. |
