Ubisoft has finally commented on a recent rumor claiming that the next Rayman incarnation would be coming to the Vita. And, for once, the news about Rayman Legends is good: the game will be released on the handheld, and with some exclusive content of its own to boot.
Unsurprisingly, Ubisoft has put a batch of unique content together for the Vita version of the game. This sort of exclusivity has become habitual for Sony, as seen in the rerelease of Epic Mickey 2 . This time, however, Vita owners will be getting more than touch controls and an obligatory skin.
The Vita version will include five new maps that will only be playable on the Vita. These levels will utilize the Vita’s rear touch controls to let the player guide the game’s bottle fly, Murphy. The level package will be bundled with a Prince of Persia skin for Rayman, as well as a Splinter Cell skin for Globox.
